Heat pumps provide an energy efficient, enviromentally friendly alternative to conventional systems. With the focus now on efficiency and the environment these provide the ideal solution. A heat pump transfers heat by circulating a heat energy source from the ground or from the air, passing through a refrigerant, compressor and a condenser. The refrigerant absorbs the heat from its surroundings which can then be used to heat hot water and provide full central heating.
